As County Judge, Dexter will:

Push for smart growth that invests in jobs and infrastructure.

Prioritize better transportation to reduce traffic, connect workers to jobs, and attract new employers.

Require county contractors to pay a living wage and promote safety standards for workers.
Bring Back Ethical Leadership
Restoring trust in government starts with transparency. An open budget process, accountable leadership, and a county government that answers to the people, not insiders.
As County Judge, Dexter will:

Give the people a real voice with year-round town halls, a say in spending decisions, and accountability when concerns are raised.

Enforce zero tolerance for corruption with swift, transparent action when rules are broken.

Explore innovative ways for residents to track public work and get answers directly from county leadership.
Fight for Democracy
Communities across Texas are under attack by extremists in Austin and Washington who are working to undermine our shared values, weaken our voting power, and take away local control.
As County Judge, Dexter will:

Support efforts to make voting easier, fairer, and more secure, and protect the process from political interference.

Encourage the county to join or support lawsuits when state or federal actions violate voting rights or local authority.
Stand Up for Education
Education fuels Fort Bend’s economic future by strengthening families and preparing the workforce businesses rely on.
As County Judge, Dexter will:

Support early childhood education programs that help guide children to a successful future.

Partner with unions to support apprenticeship programs that lead to good-paying trade jobs.
